Junior Project Manager - Finance Sector

What we're looking for
As a Junior Project Manager, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects within the Finance sector. Working closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams, you will assist in driving project success from inception through to completion, ensuring all objectives are met on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of financial projects.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
- Support the development of project plans, time-lines, and budgets.
- Help manage resources, track project progress, and report on milestones and deliverables.
- Ensure that all projects adhere to the company's policies, processes, and financial regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, operations, and technology, to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor project risks and assist in mitigating potential issues before they arise.
- Prepare and present project status updates and reports for senior management.
Requirements:
- 6-24 months of experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role, ideally within the Finance sector.
- A finance-related degree or relevant commercial experience in the finance industry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and coordinate stakeholders effectively.
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

As a national organisation with clients across the UK, we require all candidates to have the flexibility and willingness to relocate post training for deployment to client site.
