About this role

As a KYC/AML Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of clients through the highest standards of regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and due diligence within our organisation.

You will lead the end-to-end client onboarding process, ensuring thorough KYC/AML due diligence is conducted in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Review and analyse complex client profiles, assess risk factors, and make well-informed decisions regarding client relationships.

Utilize your expertise to identify potential money laundering, fraud, and other financial crimes, escalating and mitigating risks accordingly.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, risk management, and operations, to address compliance-related issues and implement effective solutions.

Stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices, ensuring that our KYC/AML procedures remain current and effective.

Conduct periodic reviews of existing client relationships, assessing any changes in risk profiles or business activities and taking appropriate actions.

What we're looking for

This role would suit an individual with at least 2 years' experience in Financial Crime Compliance. Experience in digital / fintech environments and experience in cross border transactions will be advantageous. Digitally Savvy across different medians and experience the use of databases such as World Check, SIRA, companies house and conducting open searches. Previous KYC experience of onboarding client types such as Individuals, Public Limited Companies, Limited Partnerships, Funds, Trusts, Charities, Pension Schemes, and SMEs is highly desirable, and relevant AML/CTF or ABC qualifications, e.g., ACAMS, ICA.

Minimum Requirements

We are a national organisation serving clients across the country. After completing remote training, you may be deployed to various client sites throughout the UK. Flexibility and willingness to relocate are essential as specific locations cannot be guaranteed.
